Sorry for the hiatus, but I figured if Hollywood can withhold my favourite series, I can withhold my food adventures. Okay, it’s not the same thing considering I am a rookie blogger. I wish that my full time job was going out into the big bad world and exploring what cuisines life has on offer but my full time job did sort of take control which left with me with so many stories to write about and no time to expose them.
Back to the topic. I was caught off guard when friends came over with virtually nothing “finger food” like in my fridge to entertain with.
I was willing to go all out because they come with wine and wine can fuel me to create ANYTHING.
And, that’s exactly what I did. From scratch, I created what I call rustic pizza which was a complete success because people kept on coming for more. I knew creating two pizzas was going to be enough for my friends.
Here’s tips that I now know pizza places do when creating pizza:
-
knead the dough
I am definitely sure that it makes the pizza cook faster and you don’t get those weird air bubbles
-
After placing the toppings, add a little salt
unseasoned food is a curse to human nature
-
add a little olive oil
a dry pizza is like bread going down a dry throat (not cool).
That’s what I learned when it comes to pizza making and trust me, it’s a crowd pleaser and a toddler who hates food, will enjoy this!
