For my birthday weekend, My fiancé took my family and I to the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands. If you are not familiar with the midlands, I’ll fill you in. There are a couple of wine farms, a lot of dairy farms and a lot of cheese. Knowing me, you know why this was the perfect place for me: wine and cheese!

In true fashion, we drove around to all the best cheese farms to see what they had in stall for us. Me, being the wine snob that I am, brought all the best wine with me so we ended off our second night with all the wine and cheese in the world.

This weekend was probably the best ever! My fiancé made it a point that I had no stress on my birthday weekend and I’m eternally grateful for that.
