I think I would be best described as the cheese that was named after the Emme river in Switzerland, Emmenthal!

Emmenthal is great in cordon bleu’s and other European food!

It has a nutty, buttery flavour and melts at medium temperature!

FUN FACT: The holes in Emmenthal are formed by gas bubbles released by the bacteria that are used in making the cheese.
