The best scrambled eggs recipe

Making eggs has been the common breakfast for most South Africans for decades. We love our eggs. Yes we do. Apart from being a relatively cheap protein, there are so many ways you can make them that it’s times like these that I get so excited. Growing up, making scrambled eggs was an easy and quick process. You make the stove as hot as possible, add butter and eggs and stir til cooked.

It is only recently that I have looked at more delicious ways to make egg. Now it has become somewhat of an art that we try create delicious delicate meals. This is my recipe for the best scrambled eggs.

You will not need another recipe ever!

Ingredients

  1. 4 large eggs beaten
  2. 20 ml fresh cream
  3. To taste: aromat/mild seasoning
  4. Handful cubed cheddar
  5. 2 tablespoons butter/oil/margerine

Steps

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR STOVE IS ON LOW. This is a slow process where the eggs never burn

Melt your butter in a pan. Leave stove on low heat.

  1. Add cream and aromat to the eggs and mix in

    Add in eggs to pan and with a spoon, fold in the eggs slowly

    Add in cheese to the eggs and continue to fold in the egg until moist
  2. Remove from the heat and serve as quickly as you can. Enjoy!
