If you follow me on Twitter @ladyvera06, you’ll know that I have a love/hate relationship with this breakfast. I love eating it but I hate making it.
- English muffins. They’re so hard to find in my area but they are the foundation if this perfect breakfast.
- The salmon. So expensive. Only after payday can I make it with salmon otherwise I have to opt for bacon since I am not a fan of the ham variation.
- The egg. Too many eggs in this household have fallen prey to my poaching methods. I’m either distracted or the water starts to boil and I’m left with watery scrambled eggs. After so many attempts, I just give up and fry the eggs. So I purchased this silicone device that I tried for the first time today.

- The hollandaise sauce. This too is a tricky one. I’ve tried this sauce a million times and I have mastered it. The problem is the timing. As one person in the kitchen, each element has to be warm when being served and I don’t like reheating breakfast elements, especially eggs and egg based elements.
I love this breakfast. Again I decided to shoot for the stars and make this meal. Here’s how it went:
