Upon searching my parent’s wine collection, I came across an extensive collection of vintage wines. Excited, I decided to archive it all. I had no idea that my parents were holding such great pieces of history. One of those is a 1997 Alto Rouge that I am battling to find information on.

With the centenary of winemaking being this year, I wanted to share this bottle with all of you. When I think of Alto wine Estate and the wines, I have tasted throughout the years, I think of it as a classy wine that carries flavours of the highest level. They do cost you a pretty penny, however it is a small sacrifice for some of the best wine that I have ever tasted.
