One of the gifts from my 30th was mulled wine. It was super cold then but I waited for some odd reason. Then came the boiling heat of spring and summer so I knew I’d wait for next year’s chilly season.Then came a weird cold front filled with 24/7 rain which lowered the average temperature by 15-20 degrees Celsius. Which is when I popped open my gluhwein/mulled wine from Woolworths food and my gin infusion kit for the star anise, cardamom, dried berries, cinnamon stick and dried orange slices.
