I don’t focus on family stuff, however, I have had a lot of fun putting these to gather. I, remembered the lunches my mom used to make and put my spin on them. “They are so tasty” says my eldest. The lunch boxes usually come home empty.
I figured, it’s either she’s loving the food or throwing them away. I choose to believe the former.
She goes to a Montessori school which believes in healthy lunches. No juice, sweet stuff, messy yoghurt etc. Everyday is adventure making her lunches, especially the summer weather bringing delicious fruit to our stores. I like to do two fruits, something with carbs, and a few extras if she’s super hungry.

If you haven’t guessed it by now, my daughter loves cheese. Yes, it might cost a little more, however, I prefer her eating her food than bringing it back home. This has been one of the coolest things about being a mommy and food lover; I get to combine my love of both to create something cool, in my words. While I look at my first born dancing in the bath, I can’t help but feel proud that her lunches have that LadyVera touch.
I am so thrilled to hear your suggestions on this. Please feel free to add in comments, suggestions for ‘healthy’ lunches that will not break the bank.
