Making a curry is super fun. It’s literally 50 spices, masalas, tons of coriander and smells that linger in your house until the day after. I always serve it with rice, because I’m too lazy to make naan l but yesterday was the day that I stop being lazy and I made it. It was quite simple to make so I now feel stupid for dreading it so much.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups flour and more for when you’re working
Method
- In a cup, mix the sugar, water andyeast. Wait til it foams a little
- Mix the rest of the ingredients into a bowl
- Add the yeasty water and mix until a dry ball forms
- Cover abs let rise for an hour
- Remove the dough from the bowl, make 8 equal amounts and flatten with a rolling pin.
- In a greased pan on med-high, place the first piece on the pan and observe until it browns unevenly before turning over and repeating the process.
- Remove from the pan and repeat.
For this naan, I made a mixture of melted butter, chopped coriander and garlic that I rubbed over the bread. I hope you enjoyed this recipe!!
