I sometimes wish there was such a gem near where I work because I would be a regular. For anyone that’s looking at having a chilled time after a long day of work should come to Stanley Beer Yard for a cold one.

When you look at the entrance, you can see that this is a typically rustic place where everyone minds their own business. That’s what I love. I didn’t have anything expectations except just to wind down.

Stanley Beer Yard in Milpark is a pub that services a lot of young adults and students in the area. This was a first time there and I was open to pretty much anything. When you walk in, you are greeted by an overly friendly bartender who is more than happy to explain the popular beers and the different tasting beers. I love that kind of commitment to ensuring that people pick the best drink for their taste buds.

I must confess, I was not there to eat so I didn’t have any of their food but I did take a wiff of some of their food (don’t ask me how) and it smelled amazing!

This bar only has cleaners not table waiters so you order at the bar, collect and drink. It’s a self-service kind of thing. Like I said in my opening, there needs to be a bar like this near my work then I would be a regular.
